3 phase motors that burn wire have a short in one of the phase wires that is allowing twice much current pass than is allowed. I would remove it and have a motor shop check it out.

These should be expensive, but they are nothing of the sort. You can pick up quality scaffold brick guards online for as little as £3.99. I use a company called BrikGard because they use 100% recycled plastic scaffold brick guards. I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising quality or increasing the purchase cost too much. What width staples go in this gun ?

I have a box of T50 staples here labeled 5/16 , 8mm, but they are too narrow when dropped in to the channel in the stapler.
