Craftsman Table Saw Will Not Start
Check for continuity through the entire unit. Unplug it and with switch ON connect an ohm meter to the plug line and neutral.
It's a series wound universal motor with brushes so probably a few Kohms of resistance would be expected.
Likely you'll get an open infinite reading so keep probing your way through to the other side of the motor to the other plug wire. Eventually you'll get a continuity reading. I would expect there is a self reseting thermal breaker inside the motor case that has failed.

How do I remove the blade from a Makita MK470 tile
There is not a lock on this saw. If the blade is to tight to hold by hand you need to use an impact wrench. It will loosen the nut before the blade has time to start spinning.
