for driver downloads youll have to goto your computer company's website for example if you have an hp pavillion youll need to goto hp.com and go to downloads and support.

maybe it's a factory defect. or installed the sound driver correctly.

Browse all Creative Labs > Sound Card drivers ... along with those of another one found at driverguide.com

Drivers need to be reinstalled. Look in the hardware section of the system annd see if the card is listed under the audio tab. If it is not or if it is but shows a yellow exclamation point then the drivers need to be reinstalled.

control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers if no work try administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties ,properties again enable digital audio for this device

Can you please tell me if when you turn on the computer if you are getting sound windows sound. then it is some settings in the computer check if mute is not checked or check in device manager if the correct sound drivers are installed.
