I HAVE A DNA-A211-I BSNL MODEM. I RESET IT CONTINUE 4-5 TIME AND AFTER RESET IN MODEM DSL AND WLAN IS NOT WORKING AND MODEM IS NOT CONNECTED TO MY PC. I USE WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM. RESET BUTTON IS NOT WORKING. SO PLS SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

change the address to 192.168.2.1 this is the standard for most modems. you will have to log in to make changes just push submit to use no password.

At the back of your modem there is small hole that is the reset button try to reset your modem and if still freezing update the firmware, and check all the cables plugged on it if it is properly crimped.

In order to enable DHCP back in your computer, Please follow these steps:

Click on start than go to control panel than network connection, in Network connection right click on Local Area connection and go to properties there you need to select internet protocol (tcp/ip) and than click on Properties Tab there you will find two options to select

1. Obtain the Ip address automatically
2. USe the following Ipaddress

You need to select Obtain the Ipaddress automatically and than Obtain the DNS server address automatically

Than click on Okay and it will enable you DHCP server,

You just need to press RESET button on the back of the router. THis will reset router back to factory settings. then open internet explorer and type in address 192.168.1.1 - press enter key. THis will bring up the login screen for router

Login: admin (or maybe Admin)
Pw: admin (or maybe Admin, or blank)
Login and setup router
