Why does my Dell 3100cn

Dell has a tech bulletin about this, but the short answer is "that's how it's designed to work"

Mine does the same thing, and it drives me up the wall some days, but that's just how this model operates when you're printing large jobs.

Dell printer

Error code: 004-332

This type of error code implies that you need to restart the printer again. However, do check to see if toner cartridges are seated in the proper position. Also ensure that they have been locked in.

PRINTER CUTS OFF RIGHT SIDE OF PAPER

First, on your computer desktop. left click on START. Next, left click on CONTROL PANEL, and left click on PRINTERS. Find your printer on the PRINTERS window, and RIGHT CLICK on the icon. From the drop-down menu, left click on PRINTING PREFERENCES. Use the settings to set up the printer for the paper size and orientation you want to use.Click APPLY , then OK buttons to apply any changes you make. If that does not help, check the side paper guides in the paper source you are using. If they are not against the paper on both sides, the paper will not align properly with the image. Move the guides snug but not tight against the paper. If the guides are too tight, paper may not feed. If moving the guides does not solve the problem, try loosening the guides and reposition the paper until the image is properly aligned. Then see in your owners manual if there is an adjustment called SIDE-TO-SIDE REGISTRATION, and follow the proceedure to adjust the side-to side paper alignment.

My Dell 1320c starts to print then indicates a paper jam in the top area. I have found NO PAPER JAM. What can I do the remedy this?

I had same thing in the same Dell 1320c but in looking closer at the rollers there was a bit very small bit paper, so you still may have the same, it only just that little bit to stop it working , take out the front parts with the twisted plastic locks off and have a good look again, use a dry paint brush to clean in and under all the rollers, it worked for me, good luck.

Whenever a print job is

You sent a paper size different of the requested by the printer. Just load the requested size or delete the spool.
Some PDF downloaded from internet has A4 or 8,5x11", maybe is requesting one of this sizes.

If you can not delete this message, delete the spool using the printer manual in the control panel of the printer.

Load Tray 1 024-965

Dell 3100cn Color Laser Printer Error 024-965 - Load Tray 1 Cause: The "Paper Tray Inserted" sensor buttons are not being depressed by the Paper Tray so the Printer thinks no Tray is inserted even if the Tray is properly inserted. If you pull out the paper tray and look at the Paper Tray opening, you will see three white vertical sensor buttons along the left-hand side at the mouth of the aperture where the paper tray slides in. These three white vertically aligned push button sensors tell the printer that the Paper Tray is inserted when the paper Tray is properly pushed all the way in and aligned. It also signals to the printer by noting which button is depressed whether the tray is a Letter Size or Legal Size tray that has been inserted. These buttons which are fully visible as soon as the tray is slid out can move out of place and even fall into the wall of the Tray slot preventing the buttons from sensing the tray. Solution: Click it back into place. There should be no play and the buttons themselves should be the only thing that move and then only in an in and out manner. They should move out toward you when the Tray is removed and be pushed in when the tray in slid into the paper tray feedering slot. A pair of needle-nose pliers may be necessary to draw the button module out of the tray slot wall if it has fallen in. Once it is STIFFLY repositioned and the Paper Tray reinserted, reset the printer by opening and quickly reshutting the printer cartridge compartment. This action will recalibrate the printer, shut off the amber error light and resume the current printing job if one was in progress. Good luck!

004-321 restart printer

YES! It Worked. Man I love it when things like this work out! Thanks Gnolgnol!

Let me just elaborate however:

The "belt" is the 8 1/2" wide black rubber piece wrapped around the drums located at the back top section just near the 4 black arrows and "no hands" warning picture. I was too lazy to unscrew it to fix it so I simply used much force with the palm of my hand and rolled and pushed up and over in the direction it needed to be adjusted several times. The belt will overlap on both sides about 1/8" on both sides so make sure you go past the drum a bit to even it out on both sides.

How do i store emails on Dell 3100cn ps printer

A printer is not a storage device, so you can't store mails there. You could try to print the mails, but for that you need any connection, running over WiFi or USB. Both connections have to be setup first. and can cost some extra parts.

Drum cartridge error 004-321 IBT alignment

When I get messages like that I start by reinstalling the cartridge. Also turn the printer off and on again. You can try the trouble shooting on the Dell site for the printer. If all else fails you may have to contact Dell directly. The printer support # is 800-822-8965. When I spoke to them I learned I had lifetime support that I wasn't aware of.
