Audio Driver is not installing?

The error you got means the device driver cannot initialize certain ports on your audio device. It normally indicates an incorrect driver. PCs/Laptops normally come bundled with drivers but on rare cases, they will have some compability issues with OS service packs/upgrades. I suggest you follow these steps:

First, you must be sure that your chipset drivers are the later one, otherwise download it from Intel Website directly.

1. Completely remove all your previously installed audio device drivers.
2. Restart your computer
3. Download the correct audio driver for your system.
In your case its a SIGMATEL Audio Controller 9750.
Try to get it from their website, instead of using the bundled driver
4. Install the audio driver

Intel945GNT audio driver is not installin?object not found error?

I found this on CNET after googling "device object not present". You can find the whole discussion here:http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6121_102-0.html?forumID=45&threadID=203465&messageID=2329792

Solved Device Object not present on VAIO VGN-FE31Z by Kevski2 - 11/23/06 3:22 PM In reply to: No sound on Dell Inspiron 5100 by tlove258 After a whole day on this particular issue I managed to resolve it - well for me at least! I had just done a clean install of Windows XP Pro (with SP2 included) on a Sony Vaio VGN-FE31Z.

It seems that the order you install the device drivers is critical, and unfortunately, like many other out there it would seem, I got the order wrong and so was stuck with the error message "Device Object not present..." when ever I tried to install the Audio drivers. The device was showing in the Device Manager as "PCI device" with the usual black cross on a yellow background. I knew it was an audio device, I also had the "as supplied" Sony drivers in "C:\Drivers" but running the setup.exe still caused the error message above.

I had done numerous "Windows Updates" but curiously enough I did not have either KB888111 nor KB835221 installed. After much googling I found a copy of the file kb888111.exe on a download site and tried it.

Voila!

Immediately after the install of KB888111.exe, the Vaio (by itself - no clicking by me) started to detect the SigmaTel High Definition Audio and install drivers etc.

Wonderful - or so I thought. BUt even when all this was done and after a reboot - still no audio device. I then ran the Setup.exe again and this time it did not come up with the error, and the sound drivers (and Modem - now what is the tie up there I wonder?) installed, the sound device was recognised and I now have wonderful sound. Well, **** actually because the speaker are inbuilt diaphrams and not something of a higher cost/quality - but you get the idea.

Hope this helps someone. Excuse any typo's, mis-capitalisations etc - I've had three beers this evening while I have been pulling out what little hair I have left!

Dell Inspiron E1505 no sound in web browser

I must tell you that this is not an issue with the drivers or the web browser or the computer. This could be possible that volume button on the video while on web browser is mute or lowered....

Please check.....

However you can try to watch the same video online on other computer, just to isolate the issue....

Dell Inspiron Display goes black

My guess is that your laptop's graphics card is goinf out on you. If your computer has an Intel embedded graphics card, then you will probably have to replace the whole display itself; if it has a dedicated graphics card such as NVIDIA or ATI, then you ight only have to have the graphics card.

Note book 5100 dell

If you have no lights when plugged in, first check the power supply. Check it with an ohm meter or using another computer. If the supply checks good the check the jack on the machine to see if a pin is bent or broken and if it's loose. If it's good then you will need to take it to a tech for diagnosing. At this point the problem will be with the motherboard, and there are several things on the board that can cause this. Some are easy to fix, while others may need board replacement to fix. If the power supply is bad, do not get a Targus universal supply, these do not work properly with many of the Dell machines, buy a Dell original supply.

Graphics card

Unfortunately, it sounds like you will need a new graphics card to run that game. Pixel shaders are built into the graphic card hardware and there is no way to download or install them. According to the games system requirements you need a 100% compatible Directx 9.0C card. If you post the make and model of your computer(or motherboard) I could recommend a card for you.

No display

I believe you are referring to a desktop PC.

You can press F8 repeatedly while booting to get the Boot options screen. It should contain a VGA Mode - this will boot your regular desktop with a lower resolution. Once in windows adjust the screen resolution to one that your Monitor supports.

Right click the desktop anywhere. Choose properties. Go to the right most tab "settings". Slide the screen resolution option until its where you want it. Click Apply. Do Not Hit any keys on the keyboard. Wait until it finishes changing resolution than click Ok. Close the Window.

If your screen goes black during this waiting 30 seconds should automatically revert it to the previous settings.

8500 Inspiron Video Display

Laptop Video cards are usually more expensive and harder to take out that Desktop ones. Usually involve taking apart the whole laptop. Most of the time they can not be upgraded.

If you suspect a defect I recommend bringing to a local repair center for diagnosis.
