Dell latitude c610 touch pad left button problem

Will your laptop work properly with an external mouse? If so, check your touchpad settings in "Control Panel" by selecting "Mouse". Here you can reassign your Buttons. Try setting your Right Button function to "Double Click". If the "Double Click" function works on your Right Button then chances are you have a problem with your Touchpad Assembly which means it will have to be replaced. Dell refers to it as a "Palmrest" which they will replace if still under warranty.

Error message oxoooooo7b

The blue screen is what we call the blue screen of death in the technical world, it almost always is related to hardware failure. You can try getting a dust clean up performed and the thermal paste replaced. Which places like Laptop X Change usually do this for next to nothing. Dust traps in heat, and can also cut off data transmission so that's highly possible. I hope this helps :)

Can I upgrade my Delll Latitude D830 Laptop from usb 1.0 to usb 3.0?

Not without changing the motherboard. There is a bit more to it than just the USB connections. Take a look at this: http://www.everythingusb.com/superspeed-usb.html

Very, very dark display screen (almost completely black)

what you are describing is either a failure of the backlight (ccfl) or the inverter. If you are comfortable pulling the screen apart- an inverter for this model is about $25.00 on e-bay, the whole screen is about $80.00 used. It might be cheaper to buy another laptop, or take it to a laptop repair shop. It should not cost more than ~200 to fix this.

A power surge will usually cause a short circuit or some melting. Look inside to see if anything has been damaged.

Dark sgreen

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad. Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display. If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.
