You need to do the following. Enter maintenance mode by pressing Menu * 2864 in less than 2 seconds. Press Stop and retry if you dont see the lights blinking. Then press, 80, 2864, 4460, 99. It should work, otherwise its a fault service station pump

Could be foreign material under the print head or the maintenance unit is faulty.

Where? in the outside case or internally? Thats strange unless you have a rare Humidity envoronment. You might clean with alcohol. You have to be more specific.
