Pc goes into power save mode

Motherboard specs show it has integrated audio. Try removing the audio card and connecting sound to the MB audio. Powersave is OS related not hardware. Look at user settings.

Pc is telling me i do not have any sound controller...

You should be able to use the AC97 codecs from Realtek with your machine. You have a choice of two - standard AC97 (probably the one you want) or AC97 HD, both are available from the same link and one or the other should be compatible with your device.

Post your results here, especially if this doesn't fix your problem.

Windows not booting

The problem is that your trying to use a hard drive with an operating system that was installed on a different computer, there will be all kinds of problems with that. Format the drive and do a clean install of windows and that should fix your problem. Hope this helps

Getting in to the bios

Try pressing the delete key every two seconds at boot up to get into the bios. F keys are used for pre-assembled systems. They often use F2, F10, & F12 to enter the bios.

EPoX EP-8K7A+ motherboard - memory problems

The first thing i would suggest it so make sure you have the latest Flash Bios installed on your motherboard.

Just for giggles you could try to reverse the dimms just to make sure one of them isnt bad.

Another thing to try is to take a qtip with alcohol, unplug the computer and attempt to clean the contacts that house the dimm. If it has been in use for years there may be dust buildup.

Epox ep 8npa7i driver

seems like you won't be able to obtain drivers for this m/b from the manufacturer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPoX However there appear lots of places who can provide drivers - search the internet for "Epox ep 8npa7i" and take your pick - I don't know how good/reliable any of the purveyors are, nor can I recommend a source for drivers that work. 26.December.2014
