The E547 error relates to the feed motor: Service Req E547 Feed Motor Failure DRIVE ASSY FEED (Feed Motor) of the Feeder is not rotating at the specified speed. This is error is most often caused by electronic part failures rand is not easily rectified by the non professional user. Continuity needs to be checked on several parts of the harness as well as voltage and resistance tests to determine which part has failed. If the machine has warranty on it, you need to call Epson.

Go to reset menu on printer LCD Panel
Hit enter button
Scroll down until you get to the "Change Toner M/C/Y/K" hitting the enter key when you get the appropriate letter.
This will rotate the appropriate cartridge to the opening!

1. Open the front panel - named A 2 Inside you will see the empty cyan toner cartridge in its place. 3. To release the old cartridge and seal it, take hold of the blue part of the cartridge on the right hand side, and move it upwards as far as it will go. 4. The old cartridge will now move freely, as you move it towards you and out of the printer. 5. Package it safely as the toner is dangerous if inhaled. 6. Take the new cartridge and shake it a few times to distribute the toner evenly. 7. Remove the seal and tape, and discard. 8. Slide the new cartridge in gently and evenly. 9. When it has clicked into place, take hold again of the blue section, and roll it downwards to lock it into position. 10. Close panel A, and the printer will take a minute or two to warm up, reload the toner and prepare itself for printing. 11 NOTES : The only complications I have found are in getting the new cartridge to slide evenly into its proper location. If it is not in correctly, you cannot close panel A and it is just a question of sliding the cartridge out and retrying it. The other issue is to avoid the instinctive reaction of turning the printer off before you start working inside it!! The printer is best left on through this process and there is no risk as you do so.

The Y toner cartridges are still being produced by Epson. However not many stores in UK stock them. They are readily available on eBay. You will have a choice of originals or compatibles, and a choice of standard or high capacity cartridges. I normally stick to originals, and pay around 20 UK pounds for standard and 40 UK pounds for high capacity ones. Compatibles are about half of those prices, but I have found wide variation in quality. If you are not using a lot, then originals are preferable. Let me know if I can be of further help Trevor

I would try updating your printer drivers and also check you have the latest version of whatever PDF software you are using.

Just solved the same problem. It is a very slight misalignment of the two rollers behind door E. I closed door E holding the vertical bar below the handle and just 'jiggled' it slightly from side to side, and it latched closed. Paper jam fixed, yippee!!

COULD BE THAT THE PAPER IS BIGGER SIZE THEREFORE CUTTING.NEED TO SAY FIT TO PAGE ON YOUR PRINTER DRIVER

I had a Brother machine that used to startle me when it periodically powers itself up t carryo out some maintenance. If that is what it takes to have a printer in good working order, so be it. The question is How often does it calibrates itself? That may involve a lot of wasted toner. Mine used to do its maintenance about once a month.

The laser printer does not have a printer head. It has a electrical charged drum, where the print is drawn with a laser or other light (an array of LED's). Where the light comes the drum is discharged. The charge that stays on the drum can take up toner and the toner is pressed and later burned on the paper. Looks as if on 3 places the laser can't com. Or 3 LED's are defective. Could be dust between light source and drum. Perhaps you could clean with air. But if you don't know enough of this stuf, please let an engeneer do the job.

The E511 error comes when you power up the printer. The noise of the "warm up" is the black rubber transfer belt on the Photo Conductor Unit spinning through one rev to check for a little silver square on the edge of the belt. You can turn the belt manually to see this square.

If this square is not found, Epson will tell you to throw away an otherwise fine PCU.
Solution:
a) Remove PCU and check the transfer belt for the square. Clean WITHOUT alcohol.
b) check the sensor that reads this square - a small black oblong "camera" in the heart of the printer on the LHS. Clean.
c) If the square is damaged, replace with a piece of tin foil. Superglue on carefully, making sure all the edges are glued but not your fingers!

You don't need to put the new square in exactly the same place, just above or below on the belt is fine.

Could you be more specific about your problem with regards to your printer.I would suggest try to reinstall your printer and update your driver.Check for any pending printer task and cancel them.Try to replace all your toner cartridgeIf still nothing happens contact your supplier.
