keep the stop or cancelled button pressed for about 10 seconds and then see. It will reset your printer and should work better again.

This might ba an issue with the cartridge holder in which its not recognizing inks or inks are defective. Call Epson for cartridge replacement is reinstalling of inks doesn't work.

did you remove also the 4 tapes?

well veronique I have an Epson All in One Printer and you might to read your manual and if not most like you are low on one of the ink wells in your type of printer and its easy as pie to check and change them out without a Master Degree in Computers... I simply say read your manual or go online to Epson and they have some techs whom help you gladly..............Peace

This is probably indicating an error code.

If you get in touch with Epson, they should identify, what error code the lights are indicating.

Some paper is probbally lodged btween head and printer wall, off with the power, can you then pull head to right and seek for paper fragments smashed aginst inside wall? then if all is well may need to run a clean, you should be right...

find the manurfactures website they usualy have the DRIVERS to install for free on their site, from there you can download it.

Sounds suspiciously like a Windows problem to me. It may be worth trying to reinstall the printer. Delete the old one in 'Printers', and then reload from XP or Vista, or shove the printer CD-ROM in and reinstall.

i had this happen to me twice with two different people, it is highly possible that your black inks are defective, its also highly possible that one of the other inks are causing this error. take them all out, and put one and see what happens, do this one at a time until you see something screwey.

also possible, the contacts on the printhead are dirty or are pushed in.

also possible, bad printhead.

It is not kinda solution but I can share my experience. I had it flashing all the time when I took out a cartidge.

there is something stuck in the feeder.place one thick paper and help it with your hant to pass into feeder.anything is inside will unstuck
