What application are you printing from? Are you trying to print a PDF with a lot of scanned images or embedded content? Large PDFs can bog down printing. Try to find a simple text-only PDF (no graphics or scanned stuff) with only a few pages and print it. Some third party PDF generators do not make clean PDFs. They are malformed and can cause issues when printing.

First of all. Did you remove the tear tabs from the top of the cartridge? If that has been done then do another printhead clean and once it is done turn off the machine and leave it for an hour or so. Then turn it back on and do another Nozzle Check. All going well it should now be clear.

Check your printer connection and cable to the Ruby. E9004 is saying no connection. Your connection on the back of the Ruby terminal may have come loose or is not seated correctly. Unplug it and then reconnect making sure you have it installed correctly. You may also not have the printer addressed by the Ruby in which case you may have to have your Ruby tech authorize it in the settings unless you are familiar with the maintenance procedure on the Ruby.

Sometimes you think you put it in correctly but it's not. remove it and replace it, I had this problem a few times as I refill my cartridges. Never heard of a printer actually knowing it is not genuine unless it is not made for the printer in question.
