Printer manufacturers do not want folks to use cartridges that have been refilled and they deliberately design their printers to not work with refills. Is your Epson printer new? If so you would have got a CD. Why not try the CD. If not you could try any Epson near R300 series. It might work or sometime it may detect by itself and connect your printer to the computer.

It is somewhat difficult to give a helpful answer as you do not mention what sort of image files are on the card and that could be the real culprit- If your camera produces RAW image files, then you cannot print from those - you need a format like JPEG of TIFF (as examples). If the paperfeed works when you "help" it a little, most likely the feed rollers simply need cleaning. We often suggest taking a little alcohol and spraying it onto some paper, and running it through several times, then running clean/dry paper through to finish. If the printer isn't even trying to load paper, possibly the paper sensor is blocked with dust, and blowing the insides of the printer may help.

The chips on the cartridges, should be resetter to full. The newer Epson chips can't get a reset, so I would bring (or send) the bad ones back and ask for new ones. Also make sure the contacts on the chip and in the pronter are clean and shiny.

First replace the fuse in the plug or try another power lead, if you still have no lights on the printer at all then the printer PSB has failed & will be uneconomical to repair.
