Funnily enough Ive had a similar problem with another Epson printer recently. I removed the power input unit - involves a bit of dismantling and replaced the on-board fuse. This was a quick blow 2.2 Amp one if I remember correctly. However, the fuse is capped at both ends and rests on the circuit board wire soldered to it. Not a task for the feint hearted! The replacement worked for about a week and then blew the fuse again. Obviously other components on the board were duff - printer scrapped.
Then the customer mentioned it had got damp through an open window and that he'd only had the printer three years ... tum te tum!

simple..you must have a dry paper or cloth then open the printer and find the head were the ink were it comes..just polish the dry paper to the head..that's all
