pls repair the scanner

The image sensor may have gone bad. Try reinstalling the driver, if it does not work... It is time to get a new one (it is more expensive fixing a scanner than buying it brand new). Sorry. Good luck.

you will need to clarify your problem, that does not make sense.

make sure you have the proper slide adapter and check your twain settings for the right settings.

can you be more specific?

do you have the proper settings in the twain driver?

Check to make sure the "transportation lock" on the botom of the unit hasn't got knocked to the lock position. That would make the red light flash on that model.

Just check if you have enough space where you are directing the scanning software to save the scanned images. You may be running short of disc space.

your scanner is outdated, go for new one, there is a wide range of scanners available and it starts from 1200

it means the scanner light is weeken condition, change it

it means the scanner tube is weeken condition you can change the scanner

check the power cord is connected tightly, ,, and power is comming from your power \source,, or else the connecter can be problem.. replaced

did you remove the document matt inside the TPU? when you try to uninstall pls try to unistall using the add remove programs located inside your control panel

Dont you have an installation disc with scanner?If not go Epson uk web site look for downloads or support for your scanner type,download and install

In this case Try to Do a Wia scan i will tell u how..........

Windows Vista: Go to Start/All Programmes/Windows Photo Gallery...........
There you will see an option saying File click on that and now on the drop down click on Import from Scanner or Camera.........Select ur scanner from that list and click on Import.............
If it doesnt scan and does the same thing it insists that there should be a Problem with the scanner.........
If that works..........
Software Problem.............
Uninstall and Reinstall the software................

I can not copy scanned pictures from my epson perfection 1670 scanner from windows xp. Everything works from taking the scan and putting into a folder to be copied. When I bring this folder up to copy a blank 4"x4" or so window shows. I've used this scanner for 2 years or more and have had no problems till now.

I had the same problem and I figured out how to fix it. First I unplugged the scanner. Then I bit the cables in half. Next I hit the scanner as hard as possible with a hammer. Then I put it on the floor and jumped on it a few times. After that I covered it with gas and set it on fire. Finally I peed on it as it burned. Then I got a new scanner- an HP.
