It maybe that the guard around the fan is catching the fan blade. The only thing you can do is strip it down. It maybe something vibrating because it is loose and needs tightenening.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. You have to enter its service menu to reset the lamp time.
1. Enter the Option Menu <MENU><2-4-7-0>
2. V43C & V43 Chassis select "2. Reset All Settings" and <ENTER>. Then confirm "YES" <ENTER>..
V43+ & V43++ Chassis select "Initialize" and <ENTER>.
