If the drivers were up to date and you made every attempt to make adjustments on the computer, then the fault lies within the printer. Try to reset the printer functions to the ORIGINAL settings. If the print head is out of adjustment, it needs to realigned and run the diagnostics accordingly. If perhaps the printer was running during a power surge or outage, the instruction set within the printers circuit board could be scrambled and alignment almost impossible to reset.
