When I try to graph it says argument error

Your function is not correctly defined. If graph is function y=f(x), variable must be x; if graph is polar, variable must be theta, and if graph is parametric, variable must be t. This does not cover all possible cases. Check the graph type and the definition of the function.

In Casio Graphing calculators, MA error stands for Math Error. The calculation overflows the memory.

Check the calculator with a simple 2X2 matrix that you can invert by hand easily and see if it gives you the wrong inverse for it. It is also possible that YOU made the mistake.

How do I turn the diagnostics on

You are confusing different technologies. In The TI8x family of calculators, you need to turn Diagnostics On to get R and R^2. On the Casios, if a correlation coefficient is defined it will be displayed by default with other statistics.

How should I set the v-window when I enter my distance equation?

The Window parameters control the width and length of the graphing screen. The distance equation is a formula to use to calculate the distance between two points known by their coordinates. The window dimensions have nothing to do with calculations. Or maybe I don't understand the question.

How do I get all the factors of a constant using my calculator?

There is a program on page 253 of the manual (http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=5&cid=004002013) to get the prime factors of any number. You could modify the program to get all the factors. Another way would be to do it manually. I start with the number 1 and go up to the square root of the number. The square root of 120 is 10.95, so let's go up to 11. Using 120 as an example: 120 /1 = 120 thus factor is (1, 120) 120/2 = 60 thus factor is (2, 60) 120/3 = 40 thus factor is (3, 40) 120/4 = 30 thus factor is (4, 30) 120/5 = 24 thus factor is (5, 24) 120/6 = 20 thus factor is (6, 20) 120/7 = 1.7 thus 7 not a factor 120/8 = 15 thus factor is (8,15) 120/9 = 13.3 thus 9 is not a factor 120/10 = 12 thus factor is (10,12) 120/11 = 10.9 thus 11 is not a factor. Good luck. Paul

My casio fx-9750gii gives me the wrong answer when I type in a negative exponent. When I type in 8 to the -3 power I get 1.953125E-03. When I type it into my Texas Instrument TI-30x iis I get .0019531

They're both giving you the same number. 1.953125E-03 means 1.953125 * 10^-3, which is 0.001953125 .
