14years old a good run, runs windows VISTA. run any oveheating test app yet to prove it is? that is first. it has no value this old and is rare, now. so are parts. but the cleaning ignored this long , is solve this way. (most)

1. all vents cleaned of lint.
2. take down,
3. fan cleaned of all lint.
4. fans copper radiator clean all fins of lint.
5. some need new heat sink grease this old it goes dry and fails.

Coin CELLS: When the below RTC is dead it can not be ignored and BIOS goes nuts with it dead. it must be replaced, live span is 5-7years 10 is outlier max. replacing at 7 year means not having down time just what you need it the most. real photo not fake actual model real.

well get Ethernet working first. wired to router than at gateway.com get the driver for this, see it works. laptop old came with w7 but gw does not support xp here. xp is 8 years older. it means the drive is bad, tray jamming on eject or old sticker lapels stuck inside ? or windows is infected or the driver for the DVD drive is wrong one.

no. some PC called AIO all in one, have option (new only choices) to make PC act as a monitor (input) your PC now has video jacks and all are inputs.. only ok I just googled zx4951 and it is and all in one PC. (what I call fake desktops) lacking all great real desktop features. you did not post full model number codes, so what version it is , is not told. and matter. the AIO PCs some have no video or and or inputs some have none, no VGA, no DVI , no HMDI NOR DP jacks some have 1 input. this old PC has CCFL back lamps that 99% are all dead now. CCFL can and do fail hard at 20k hours, 5 years old on average. what matters most is your side port jacks I can not see them and some are in fact optional, I see some have knock outs blanked off in sales ads for yours lets see what the the manual states now, I read manuals to posters now. the AIO screen is dead how can a dead PC CCFL PC work as any monitor ever.? what some can do, dead is connect to any VGA monitor and now works great or VGA top HDMI to a TV. works.
