Check power settings by opening control panel -> power options. Check when is the computer set to go to sleep and when to turn of the display. This might be caused by Windows power settings that put the computer to sleep to save power.

Can the gigabite keyboard be totally dismandled??

Any keyboard can be dismantled. Each one has its own configuration, however: Turn the keyboard over on its face with the back up. >Usually there are several inset screws (phillips head type) on the rear of the keyboard. Remove those. >There may be snaps (or not) additionally holding the cover on. Go carefully and see how they are holding. If you are lucky there are none. >Once the rear cover is removed, be VERY careful not to let the keys tumble out. It's a real bear trying to get them back in proper order again. You might try Youtube, just type your keyboard type in the search and see what pops up.

Hi Orville, Your problem is all about your motherboard you need to updated to BIOS firmware to solve your problem. Go to the gigabyte website then go to your motherboard page and download and updated to the latest firmware for your bios. Steps in flashing BIOS How to Reflash Motherboard BIOS About updating BIOS... The whole BIOS updating procedure should be treated with extreme caution. If you do not encounter any system instability or bugs with the current BIOS version, we suggest that you keep it. If you determine to flash BIOS, you are taking a personal risk of BIOS flash failure. Please contact your supplier or our distributors/resellers for further remedy in case system crashes unfortunately because of BIOS flash failure. Before you begin... 1. Please make sure the BIOS version you want to flash matches your motherboard model. 2. If your BIOS is flash protected, please do not enable BIOS Flash Protection under Advanced CMOS Setup (AMI BIOS) or Advanced BIOS Features (AWARD BIOS) in BIOS menu. 3. Never interrupt when you BIOS is being updated. 4. Because BIOS flashing is potentially risky, if you do not encounter problems using the current version of BIOS, it is recommended that you not flash the BIOS. To flash the BIOS, do it with caution.
