It maybe the case you have does not support your board.

the only solution i can think of for thet problem is thet the cable from the display and graphic card might be the problem. And if you're screen starts when you start the computer and then it turn it self of with out any resson. it might be the grapic card error some how. try to reset the Bios and such if it's not helping..

Post back if you have more info on the problem.. as you know it's kind hard for us to fix the problem if it's hand needed problem as hardwear dmg...

Who is the BIOS manufacturer AMI, Award, Phoenix?

There could be more than one single problem, the pc has to say something on the screen, if is not say anythyng chek the conection of the monitor or try the monitor on another pc, take out any new hardware wich you put recently or changed recently. that  could ba a problem as well.

Try to check the F_AUD terminal if there are still jampers on it...coz without it the onboard sound wont work...put jampers on terminal 5 to 6 and 9 to 10 of F_AUD terminal.....

Download Microsoft UAA drivers and Uninstall your normal sound drivers..through device manager
Then install UAA drivers and reboot then through device manager reinstall sound drivers.

When you power up the computer keep hitting the delete key this will allow you to get into the bios setup. Here is a bonus for you too, the motherboard manual with diagrams of the entire motherboard and all the info you need to build it from scratch.

try searching for the sound drivers in Google, or on gigabyte's site, look through device manager and make sure the drivers are installed and the device is working and not throwing an error code.

This board only has a 4X AGP slot so any AGP video card of 4X will do recommend 256MB or more if you can get it

Try to remove the motherboard (BIOS) battery in order to return to it's manufacturer's default settings....

Motherboard was generated by power supply to running it.. If there is no power when you click the power on, it may caused by the power supply unit problem
