i've seen this on a few different models - you actually have to call your provider (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) and have them ensure 2 way SMS is enabled on your phone. Here's the 800 #s for the 3 major providers.

Download the games that you want to play on your Pocket PC.

You can install it on your PPC using two ways:

1. If the setup is '.exe', Connnect it to your PC thru active sync and double-click the setup file. You'll be guided thru the on-screen instructions.
2. If it is a '.cab' file, transfer it directly to your PPC and click it to install directly.

Try turning OFF the automatic turn-off option in:

Start > Settings > System > Power

Here go to advanced, and turn-off the first option (while on battery setting) or you can even increase the time setting there.

Soft-reset your PDA by inserting you stylus at the small hole available for the purpose.
your PDA will restart and gain all the lost RAM (Program memory).

To hard-reset your imate Jammin:

1. Keep pressed you CAMERA key and COM key.
2. Press reset (Soft Reset key)
3. Leave everything.

the best psble solution is to get ur firmware and software updated. This would stop ur from from freezing, and also make sure u take a proper back up of ur phone like contacts and other multimedia or office stuff.

On this problem, I suggest you bring you pda to a service center. Any shops will do as long as the technician is aware about the hardware. But better, if you can contact the exclusive service center for imate in your area.

May I ask, is it brand new? why is it not turning on? When you recharge it, is it working? what was the error?

Try this, basically, you should remove the battery, then install it again, try to recharge it. Perhaps you need to change the battery. I suggest that you bring your phone to a service center to check it specifically.

That's a bad thing. Did you let your phone dry on its own, you need to dry it for 48hours atleast. And you must remove the battery and avoid turning on the power.

In your case, it might already damaged the circuits inside, especially after it got wet, you turned the power on. I suggest you bring your phone to the service technician to open it, perhaps it will build some rusts inside of if.

I suggest that you should go to your retailer and they can refer you to a service center in which you may consult and purchase your touch screen. That is the best way. Hope your phone still covered its warranty!
