There is a plastic unit behind the door handle which houses a spring under tension. This latches the door closed and makes the electrical connection to allow the machine to work properly. You need to buy a new unit (£15) which is a bit fiddly to reach but easy to fit (2 screws)

the electronic board has fried that is what is tripping the breaker it needs to be replaced as well there pretty expensive to replace.

Hi I had the same problem with the ID620. Just fixed it last week. With the ID620 flashing 4 means tha t there is a problem with the heating circuit. Either the element, the stat or the control board. Mine was a problem with the control Board. I took the board out and after some debug found a faulty zener diode. Replaced with new one from Radionics (1 euro) and machine now 100%.

if its the latch tongue remove the top panel...if its the door remove the console

The door springs are accessable through the toe kick. There will be 3 or 4 steps where the spring can be attached. With the door closed and latched, so it can't fall accidently, remove the toe kick panel and with a pair of channel locks move the springs (one on each side) to the desired position.
