Indesit 24 in. DE73 Evolution Free-standing Dishwasher - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Indesit Dishwasher LS12-E2100. Lights work in door and there is a buzzing noise when the door is shut, but it won't fill with water, so it will not work.
Generic step 1: Clean the internal filter.
There are manuals and troubleshooting guides online. Go find them.
The buzzing noise may be a symptom of the problem. If the main motor cannot turn, it will stall and buzz. With the power disconnected and the unit pulled out, try to turn the main pump motor from the bottom (They are invariably in the center of the
unit on the bottom of the wash tub). If that turns freely, something else is buzzing which may or may not be a problem. Try to find out what is making the noise. Note: If you cycle the unit with it pulled out, it will be obvious if the motor can turn or not.
An old mechanics trick (Old trick, not mechanic): With the unit pulled out, and exhibiting the problem: Take a 1/4" wooden dowel (do not use metal!!) and press it against the little flap of your ear so as to cover your ear canal. Do not insert the dowel into your ear! The dowel will mechanically conduct sound to your ear. Now, with the dowel on your ear, probe around the bottom of the unit, listening to find the loudest buzz. You will quickly get the hang of it.
When you have found what is buzzing, you may have found your problem. You may not recognize whatever you find is buzzing. Consult the online documentation.
The buzzing may be the water inlet valve. It may be the pump motor that has ingested something that keeps the motor from turning. It may be something else.
I am guessing that the buzzing is not good, but it could be benign. When you have found the buzz, consult the manuals & troubleshooting for further instruction.
I have the feeling that this problem will ultimately be resolved by a service tech., but good luck anyway

How do I Fix upper spray arm to Indesit IDF 125 UK
It depends a lot on what is wrong with it. You can get special glues that fuse plastic if it is broken.
If you need to replace it, appliance spare parts are available online.
If it is intact but still non-functional, try taking it apart to see if something is causing it to bind.
Past this, your complaint should direct the course of your remedial action. You did not say what was wrong initially.
Good Luck,
Pete

Indesit dishwasher 705. Error codes 1 and 3 (left to right) flashing. Not blocked filter as it drains water away.
Find the error code on the web so you know what the washer is complaining about (Google it). Because the washer drains water does not mean the filter is not clogged. Remove the filter and clean it to be sure.
The error code will point you to the requisite corrective action. An error does not necessarily imply failure, but it usually means just that.
Until you know what the washer thinks is wrong, you have little chance of correcting it.
Good Luck,
Pete
