Sounds like it has overflowed at some stage. Ensure the filter is cleared and then rock the dishwasher backwards. Any trapped water will drain out and the safety valve will reset. i had similar and this was what the indesit technician did.

Have you checked there is no water in the base of the machine?
There is likely a float in there which activates a microswitch turning on the drain pump.
You could try tilting the machine through 45 degrees and see if any water comes out.
It could take only a cupful of water inside the base of the machine to trigger the safety switch
Not filling up
Have you checked there is no water in the base of the machine (there is probably a float with a microswitch there).
If there is any water at all in the base the float rises and triggers the microswitch turning on the drain pump. Does the drain pump run even with the door open?
You could try tilting the dishwasher 45 degrees and see if any water comes out
Error 05
There should be a hose on the back that is placed in a drain "usually kitchen sink". If it will not drain after this unplug the appliance and check the bottom for a food clog and clean if needed.
