Barnes & Noble Nook Color Questions & Answers
I registered my Nook color years ago but now have a different email
go to Barnes and noble website.
Log in using your old name and password.
Click on My Account (upper left corner)
Bottom of page click on Manage Account Settings (on the left)
Fill in CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
IF you no longer have your password AND no longer have your email, you can not access your old account. You will have to register at Barnes and Nobel as a new account.
I cant get the device to charge
If you don't have the original charger and cable, it won't ever say, "charging", but any standard USB cord plugged into any standard USB charger will work. It just doesn't say, "charging", and will charge slowly. Check the percentage of battery, and check again in half an hour. You will see that it is indeed charging.
I took mine to a B&N store, and that's what they said. They no longer stock the chargers/cords.
Can I check out books at my library?
I don't know, can you? That is what Libraries are for. But you will need a library card. You might need a couple forms of Identification to get one. Check with your local library.
