My motorola n136 will not pair to my ps3
Hold down the answer call button on the bluetooth headset until the
light is solid (not flashing). When the PS3 detects your headset, it'll
ask for a pass. The pass should be "0000" (four zeros).Hope this helps.

I have tried everything .
Firstly, make sure you have enabled Bluetooth on your phone or whatever device your using the headset with. The default setting off, so go into your phones set menu and enabled Bluetooth.
You'll then need to 'pair' the headset and phone.
1. Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light not blinking).
2. Press and hold the Call E button for 4 or 5 seconds. The indicator light will initially flash, but continue to hold down the button until the indicator light is steadily lit.
If the indicator light is flashing or not steadily lit when releasing the button, repeat both steps 1 and 2. Hold the Call E button for 4 or 5 seconds.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and get to 'search for devices' it should find the headset.
4. Select Motorola HS850
Select OK or Yes to pair your headset with your phone.
Enter the passkey: 0000
Select OK.
When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, the indicator light changes from
steadily lit to flashing.
Hope this helps. Oh and make sure your phone actually supports the headset!

How to pair a motorola hs8501226b to an i phone
Turn on BT on the iPhone. From the home screen: Settings > General > Bluetooth. Setup the headset to be discoverable (push and hold the button on the HS700 until the ring turns blue. Extend the boom mic. I believe you do the same on the HS850.) iPhone finds the headset. Enter the code for the headset. Mine was 0000. I believe that's universal for Motorola BT headsets
Hope this was helpful
Positive Feedback ALWAYS Appreciated :)

Need instructions for connecting ear piece to
Hi,to complete the look of a tech-savvy, iPhone-using individual, you must have a Bluetooth headset to accompany it. You can pair any Bluetooth headset with an iPhone. The Motorola HS850 is no exception to this. Both Motorola and Apple's Bluetooth set-up process is fast, so you'll be talking with people through your new Bluetooth on your iPhone in a matter of minutes.
Instructions
Charge the Motorola HS850 headset fully before attempting to pair. Usually, it takes two to three hours to charge the headset.
Press and hold the "Call" button (has a phone icon on it) on the headset for six to 10 seconds. The outside LED light will turn on indicating that the phone is in pairing mode.
Choose "Settings" on the iPhone homescreen.
Select "General," then "Bluetooth."
Select to turn Bluetooth on.
Wait for the phone to search for in-range devices.
Select theMotorola HS850 from the list of devices.
Enter the headset passkey to complete the pairing. By default this is "0000."
Have a nice day..

Motorola HS850 Bluetooth
Whats most likely wrong with your HS850 is the connect button on the front of the headset (the larger oval chrome one with an inlay of a traditional phone handset on it)is stuck down. To repair this you will hold the hand set and pull up on lanyard attach point firmly. (This facia is held on by double sided tape). After pulling the facia you need to purchase or borrow a T-6 Torx bit to remove the screw that holds the headset together. Once you get to the circuit board you will see what the button and spring assembly are (all is is a round piece of foil and the "spring" is a piece of tape using tension to pull the foil up!) Reset the piece of tape so it does not rest on the board and reassemble that headset. Enjoy your HS-850
