Sony DSC-S75 Cyber-shot Cameras USB Driver for Connection Driver for vista

You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a Sony DSC-S75

The only memory card you can use are the Sony Memory Sticks. You cannot use a Sony Memory Stick Pro, so you have to find one that is under 512MB capacity and does NOT say "Pro" on it. You cannot use any other format memory card such as SD or SDHC.

Format error display shows memory card is unstable and need to be format through format option in Camera menu.
Format memory card, if that does not fix the issue, try another memory card in camera and check this memory card in another camera just to make sure either camera got problem or memory card is bad.

I have a Sony digital

I did a bit of research on this, and you're going to have to be very careful. Your camera is only compatible with the very first generation of "memory stick". That sounds like a generic term, but it's actually a Sony specification. Please take a look at the wikipedia page on memory stick, and note all the newer versions. Also note that the 'memory stick' is no longer manufactured. Here is a list of memory sizes, I agree that the Mb and Gb are confusing. Each one is double the size of the one before.

8 Mb
16 Mb
32 Mb
64 Mb
128 Mb
256 Mb
512 Mb
1 Gb
2 Gb
4 Gb
8 Gb
16 Gb
32 Gb
64 Gb

Now, you will have to find a genuine Sony "memory stick" and not the Pro, or Duo, or anything like that. When they were manufactured, the largest one was 128 Mb, so that is the limit for your camera. Anything in "Gb" or Gigabytes cannot be a memory stick. I did find 128Mb memory sticks on Amazon. The review page on DPreview will tell you how many pictures you can store on a card half the size, just double it.

I have a sony pro duo 512 mb memory card that

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

    My pictures have a blue tint...I have a DSC-S75

If you took the pictures in fluorescent lighting they will have a blue cast. To correct that, you need to set the white balance option in your camera. Pictures of a snow landscape and others will also have a blue cast at times, unless you set the white balance correctly. There are many places online that discuss these settings for phtography in general.
