You can do that in two ways
strategy 1.
clean registry by free registry cleaner, clean the system disk. let it be free from viruses.
uninstall unwanted programs and remove unwanted progs from start-up
strategy2. (technical advice)
upgrade the processor and memory they go together.

Choose your version of 7, and download and install their driver set. It may be of a different size than for XP or Vista.

Looking at the vendors I buy parts from, all the cards I saw offer both SATA and IDE ports.
Here's one as an example. You definitely want SATA capability as most newer drives are only being offered as SATA, so you'll have a wider selection to choose from.
Another possibility: start fresh with a new system board. If the onboard IDE controller isn't working properly, this may be a warning sign that other problems follow. You might be better off spending your money on a new mobo that already supports IDE and SATA.

Haw to rotate the screen, please?
You can try holding the Ctrl + Alt and then the up and down arrow keys. You should be able to rotate the screen on your monitor. If that does not work probably this feature is not supported by your board. You will have to install some software which helps you to rotate the screen.

After a powerout my 865 mother board does not
If the powerout was caused by surge, very possible something was damaged. If you have more than one expansion slot, try the ethernet card in another slot.
Try a different expansion card in the old slot. If you don't have one, pick up an old 56K modem and try it. You can get one for less then $10. This will help rule out whether problem is in expansion slot or ethernet card.
I am facing problem with office 2003. whenever we
Uninstall and Reinstall Office 2003 as an administrator. Make sure you leave the setup files on the computer with the office installer prompts you. Then run office updates repeatedly until there are no more updates available.
You software is most likely using a feature of Office 2003 that is not installed and it is trying to install it on 1st use. Trying a complete install may fix this problem as well.
