Windows xp installing failed
I assume you are trying to install XP from a self-burned CD.
Did you slipstream SP2 or SP3 in it?
If so, try to burn a DVD instead of a CD. I had that problem once too and followed some advice I found
here.

Remove fan d865perl
It depends. You usually must replace the entire heatsink/fan assembly. If you have the standard 'Intel' heatsink/fan that came with a retail boxed Intel processor, you flip the levers in opposite directions to loosen the assembly, and then you slip a thin piece of metal under each of the four hooks that attach it to the mobo, but you do them one at a time. You just pry a little bit and lift up on each one. After the last hook is freed, you pull the unit completely off the board. There's also a power connector. Don't forget to unplug it. There are at least 100 different styles of HSF for that mobo. You also want to twist a little to work the thermal-transfer compound loose. Otherwise you might pull the processor out with the HSF.
Intel desktop board freezing n
There are several reasons for hanging motherboards. If you are using your motherboard with some PCI cards installed, first remove all PCI cards from motherboard then use your motherboard. If it is working well,, then try inserting cards one after one until you find the card which is causing problem.
If all cards are working well or you are not using any PCI Card, check the BIOS settings. Most often restoring to default settings work well.
Third possibility is the overheating of chipset. You may add a motherboard fan in your syste if it is not installed or not working properly.
Similarly try air blower to clean the dust from your system.
Hi, I inserted a power
pt in a good PSU LEAVE IT UNPLUGGED push the power button for 15 seconds then plug in the power supply see if that works.
Here is one for you.
by resetting the bios, bios comes to default i don t think it will change anything i think the better is to go to bios go to memory configuration and change the configuration and restart your computer all computer is designed to work with configuration stated in its manual its stated how much memory can be accepted by the motherboard i think the motherboard accepts only 512 MB memory can be changed in the DRAM SPD in the bios when diabled you can manually set the timing parameters throug the dram sub items
