Are you looking for the wireless password or the password of the router?
If you want the password of the router, then try the default password of the router. If the default password doesn't work then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure the router.
If you are looking for the wireless network password, then you will need to open the set up page of the router. Is there any computer connected to the router ? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router. Or any other computer which is able to go online using the router. Check the IP address on that computer. open the set up page of the router. Set up page of the router is the page where you will find all the settings of the router. under the wireless section you will find the wireless network password

if your router have DHCP enabled plug an connect your network card into your router.

when you see that it gives you an ip address just type in command prompt: ipconfig /all and at Gateway you will see your router address

Have you tried to download updated firmware or drivers? Maybe a reset, and reinstulation? With out knowing what kind of router it is hard to help you with which site to go to. I would visit the support page of the manufacturer. Good luck.

Your router's wireless configuration has been changed ie SSID, WPA encryption etc. and therefore the wireless card in your computer needs to be changed as well so it can connect to the wireless router. Sounds like you have to boost the range on your router.

There is a setting in it that will define the range your router will reach.

Upnp usually activates when a device is attached to the computer.
To manually do this, you can go to the "Device Manager", (Presuming you are using Windows 98 or later) and right click any device in the list and select the menu item to "Scan for Hardware Changes". This starts the Operating System Plug and Play discovery and the "New Harware Found" dialogue box should pop up.
If it dosn't, look in the list to see if your device is there already. If it is, right clik it and select uninstall, then redo the "Scan for Hardware changes" again to see it come back.

Also, be shure it's powered up and connected properly if nothing seems to be working here.

Place your modem in bridged mode First and then try connecting the Router.
Ensure that all the settings for the wireless are entered correct.
Check the SSID and Security Mode and configure properly

Power light being RED indicates that the Router has gone bad.
Try to push and hold the reset button for a minute and check if it works.

I went to Best Buy and asked the support staff.THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL.I ended up buying a NetGear router on sale for $40.00 as the Verizon router does not have a ethernet outlet to the computer so it is not able to be used.
