Hi,
I have an Asus K8N-VM Mother board and running Vista Ultimate and find I cant configure the soundmax drivers properly, I can get the sound in stereo but not in 5.1 surround sound ! Also the sound manager comes up on screen as a stereo only. When I am booting up I get a message saying adi codec not loaded.

try reinstalling the audio driver ... there is some conflict or bcoz of some problem it is not installed correctly....

Hey guys,
I went out of town for a few days. I left my comp off and now it won't 'turn on'. I can press the power button and I get the light for the power but it doesn't begin the boot process. I opened the case and I have a light (STR LED) on the motherboard (Intel® Desktop Board D865GBF).
I have seen a similar problem with an Apple G4 and I had to press a reset button on the motherboard, but I'm not seeing anything here.like that.
I also checked the battery on the board and it is fine.
If you are wanting to try a reset, near the bios or cmos battery there should be 3 pins with a jumper across 1 and 2. To reset the bios, move the jumper to pins 2 and 3, then back to 1 and 2 for normal operation.

i have installed vista on my board D865GBF......as i have the original cd of the board drivers but they are not compatable with vista even my lan is not working so how can solve this problem and install the compatable drivers for vista help me plzzz to find out............

agree the prompt and you are all done note mic may not work in all pcs
