I have installed sound driver
go to my comuter in the desk top right click it then properties them hardware device manager you will seesound vedio and game controller expand them you will see your sound driver installed if there is any yellow mark or red mard on the driver uninstall it with right click then install the sound drivers and restart the computer then go to start settings control pannel cdouble click sound and audio devices in the volume 7you will see the slider move the slider fully to max and alwasys be sure to clear the mute and select the plce icon in the task bar c,ick the volume and move the slider to full and check wether mute is not selected
Not detect the any pci
If all of the Pci slots of your motherboard Intel D865GBFare not detecting any of the Pci card such as lan card, Tv-Tuner card, Sound card etc. So it must a hardware problem that is in your motherboard. There must be some chips near to Pci slots be weaken or your Pci slots are damaged. So it is better you go to some computer repair center that will tell you the exact problem.

If you refer that you are trying to turn it off from the button ...and it do not react ..it means that you wired the front panel wrong ...and need to check again the diagram in the motherboard's manual ...I link one here in case you do not have one ..

If you connected all well ...and it do not stop from the windows...reinstall it clean if it has an installation from a previous motherboard on the hard disk ..cause it may be an windows error..
If the power socket is on 24 pins...and you have a 20 pin power source ...than you have to align it to the left ..

Yes it can support 1GB ram. Max capacity up to 4GB of ram, meaning 1GB each on each slot. Make sure that the memory that you will be installing are either DDR400, DDR333 or DDR266. It could be the RAM is faulty if the one you bought is the DDR's that I mentioned

but did you replaced your small battery in this period and was your computer clock working fine ?if not first concider replacing your battery then consult a hardware technician
