most motherboards natively (now adays) support up to 1.5 tb on a single disk. with most bio's now being upgraded to support upwards of 3tb on a single disk via a bios update you just need to update your bios from intel's website and be good to go!

Here is the pin-out for the power connector:

These connections are common for all the motherboards, so there is no reason for looking for intel motherboard's layout. If the power connector has 24 pins (the new motherbords) the 18th pin is "com", id the connector has 20 pins (the old motherboards) the 18th pin is "nc". The Intel D865GBF motherboard has a power connector for 20 pins and a separate one 20 pin connector, here is the layout:

You can download the motherboarddrivers from Intel WEB site. Select your model motherboard/device, and makesure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matchesyour Windows

You need to download the drivers for the audio hardward for you laptop.

If showing a cmos problem, try pulling out the cmos battery (round circle battery) on the motherboard and wait 30 seconds, then place the battery back in. If you can't get to the bios still, then go out and buy a new cmos battery, or order from a site such as newegg.com

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps don
