how can i obtain the driver for the pci communications controller as i/m did not see it on the website this drive as it is the only question mark in my device manager

I HAVE INTEL 845GVSR MOTHERBOARD & 2.4 GHZ PROCESSOR & 1 GB DDR RAM & AND I INSTALLED WINDOW VISTA HOME BASIC PREMIUM 32 BIT & AND MY VIDEO,LAN,USB DRIVER DOES NOT SUPPORT WIN VISTA & WHEN I BOOT THE SYSTEM IT SHOWS NOTHING
PLZ GIVE ME PROPER SUGGESTION WHAT CAN DO FOR MY VIDEO,LAN,USB DRIVERS
1st. cannot read the driver of mother board 845gvsr coming said internal error
2nd. before 216mb iwant to add 512Mb but the reading not change in Bios still 256MB coming.
3rd I change the CD player to Conbno LG but the Nero not continue installing.
Fix for older motherboards like Intel 845GVSR etc.,
HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR FIXING DISPLAY PROBLEMS....
(This solution works for any Intel Motherboard)
No need to donwload or install any drivers.
Vista has everything built in.
Only thing is it needs atleast 128 Mb of Video Memory, but for older motherboards like Inter 845 by default the Video Memory is configured to 64 Mb which is resulting in your problem.
So what you have to do is...
SOLUTION:
Restart your computer > Press DEL Key
and
Go to BIOS Settings > Advanced > Video Configuration
1. Change "AGP Aperture Size" from 64 Mb to "128 Mb or Higher"
2. Leave "Primary Video Adapter" as "Integrated"
3. Change "Frame Buffer Size" from 1 Mb to "8 Mb"
and then press F10(i.e., Save changes and continue).
Sometimes, for the first time you may see screen not aligned properly, in that case just restart once more and Vista will automatically adjust the alignment for you.
Also, you can change the resolution to your desired one manually as follows...
1. Click "Start Button"
2. Right click on "Computer"
3. Select "Properties" option from the context menu.
4. Scroll down and find "Disply Settings" option and click it.
5. Adjust Resolution Size and Mode.
NOW, ENJOY USING VISTA.....

Hi experts,i have been trying to get my pc's audio to work for three weeks now,but in vain.Here's how the whole issue started.I had many viruses in my computer,due to which i had to format my pc.After installing the windows xp professional edition software on my pc,i tried to look for my cd which contained all the audio divers for my motherboard.I realised that i lost my cd,so got on the internet looking for the right drivers.It's been three weeks now,and my pc has no sound.I don't know where to look for the drivers now.I need help urgently!!My motherboard is an intel 845gv chipset.If you need any more info,please let me know.

i am tryin 2 repair a computer, but as soon as I started i found that the following motherboard connectors were not connected . power sw, reset sw, HDD led and 2 other single connectors, would like to find out where they go on a VIA VT8235 ( MS-6390VER : 2) AMD athlon board.
The board should have marking next to the pins where the wires go.
Example: PS, RS, HL, etc

i have installed windows 7 on my computer system..... i have intel865 motherboard. it requires graphics driverss as by default their is vga adapter installed. i tried changing them with other graphic board drivers but didn't work can u find me the solution with da same problem

as windows 7 is still in beta stages most drivers are not available for it yet......
are you running the 32bit or 64bit version ??
i ask this because either version is compatible with windows vista so you could try obtaining these drivers from intel.......
