Sounds and video has gone
You need to find and install the audio and video drivers for your laptop.
Usually laptops come with a Recovery CD, and all the drivers should be included in it.
If not, just visit the manufacturer web site, look for the correct drivers, download and install.

Downgraded to Win XP. Cant find graphic & audio drivers HP G7000
Hi,
You can make the Vista a bit faster by turning off some services which you don't use, using a good antivirus software which is also light on the system. Also, you can add more RAM. Then when Windows 7 is released, you can install that. Windows 7 is faster and better compared to Vista.
Hope this helps. For more assistance please reply. Thanks.
Sound
You will need drivers for your sound card. Go to Control Panel.....select Device Manager....find your sound card on the list.....Right click on it and select Properties........select drivers tab.......have windows look for drivers and install. You can also install your card in ADD/REMOVE HADRWARE in control panel. Have windows search for new hardware. When it finds your sound card follow prompts to install.
