Brookstone Big Blue Studio Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Questions & Answers
Big blue speaker repair
Lithium ION batteries are usually rechargeable. The use mode for these batteries is that there are a set number of recharges that equate to the life of the battery. Usually that life is approximately 1,000 charges.
If you use your battery to 50% then recharge, you can do this ~2,000 times. As the life of the battery is used up, the maximum charge lessens which means where you may have had 8 hours of play time when the battery was new, you will only have 6 hours as the battery life is used up.
In order for a Lithium ION battery to recharge there must be at least a small amount of charge left as a "seed" for that recharge. If you drain a L-ION battery down to zero, it may never recharge again or the max charge will be reduced to an insignificant amount of the original full charge. eg instead of 8 hours you may only get 15 minutes, or 5 minutes, or no minutes.
You are much better off recharging when 50% depleted than using it up til your product stops.
L-ION batteries cannot be repaired only replaced. Most cheap products using L-ION batteries cannot have their batteries replaced.
If the speaker is under warranty get it replaced.
Taking the speaker apart to replace the battery will compromise or even destroy the acoustic properties of the speakers.
Big Blue Live Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
My brookstone bluetooth speaker is refusing to play loud noises and makes a beep instead of playing loud noises, how do i turn this feature off?
The beeping sound could be due to a hardware issue such as low battery or the speaker being in pairing mode1. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check if the speaker is in pairing mode. If it is, try pressing the power button briefly (for 1 second), once or twice. This should cancel pairing mode and make the beeping stop.
If the speaker is beeping every 30 seconds or so, it's probably telling you that it's in "Pairing Mode" and ready to connect to a Bluetooth device. If you don't have any devices to pair it with right now, just press and hold down the "Power" button for about two seconds to turn it off until you're ready to pair it again.
If the problem persists, try restarting your device and then reconnecting it with the Bluetooth speaker. If the problem is still not resolved, then you should turn off the Bluetooth feature on your device. It will stop making those annoying sounds.
My brookstone outdoor wireless speaker does not work on just battery power....never has
There are a few potential reasons why your Brookstone outdoor wireless speaker may not be working on battery power. Here are a few things you can try:
- Make sure the battery is fully charged. If the battery is not fully charged, it may not be able to power the speaker.
- Check the battery connections. Make sure the battery is properly seated in the speaker and that the connections are clean and secure.
- Try a different battery. It's possible that the battery you are using is faulty or has simply reached the end of its lifespan.
- Check for any visible damage to the speaker or battery. If you see any signs of physical damage, this could be the cause of the issue.
- Contact Brookstone for further assistance. If you have tried all of the above steps and the speaker is still not working on battery power, you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
How to fix a CD Play that stops in the middle of a track
Probably dirty laser optics, especially the tracking optic. Go to Walmart or Amazon and get a CD cleaner disc. It has small brushes that clean off dust.https://www.staples.ca/products/786397-en-staples-cd-dvd-drive-cleaner..
Hi. I cannot figure out where the ac power goes into my Brookstone Wafer-thin cd system (2005) there is no where on the system to insert the power cord.
From set up manual Setting up the system takes no time at all. Connect the subwoofer to the main unit with the provided cable. The NXT speakers connect directly to the subwoofer with color-coded cables for left and right. An FM antenna is included and can be connected easily to the rear of the unit (the AM antenna is built in.) Finally, the subwoofer gets plugged into the wall for AC power and the unit can be powered up. If this takes you more than 5 minutes, call your Dad and ask for help, you're probably over-thinking it. There is no setup in terms of volume or bass management configuration as the sub handles all crossover functions as well as volume balancing between itself and the NXT speakers. You can get a copy from manufacturer or online search
