what do you mean? you can not set the charging voltage of the battery, you may change the output voltage by using the software that comes along in the UPS packing box

Try replacing with new SLA batteries first. There is a fuse between the two batteries.

What does the unit do without the batteries attached? Try re-seating the connections.Is this the same behavior as before you replaced the batteries? If so, the unit itself has likely failed and will need to be replaced.

Many models of UPS's will not power up if the internal batteries are no longer working to spec. There is no point in having a UPS if the batteries are dead! Other types of common faults are a blown power fuse, or a defective controller board, or a defective switch. If the fuse is blown, it is best to investigate for the reason it blew before replacing it and thinking it is safe. Jerry G.
