If the Lexmark WEB site does not have a Windows 8 printer driver for your model printer, then the Windows 7 driver may work. Try it and you maybe in luck.

Hello,Lexmark P3150 works fine with windows 7 and even with windows 8. I verified that by visiting Lexmark's support center. You can also check that by visiting LEXMARK .. By the way, if you want to optimize the performance of your computer then I suggest that you install a technician software called RadarSync. It is a good maintenance software for computers running in Windows 7 and even with Windows 8. What it does is it maintains and updates basic drivers inside your computer. You don't need to do anything at all. The software will do them for you - maintain and update. I hope this helps.Thank you.Carlo

Lexmark made a fix for this Goto the FTP server of lexmark and download the Searching for scanning applications fix for your printer @ ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/driver/

For instance I have the Lexmark All in One center 1100 Series so my patch is located @ ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/driver/inkjet_drivers/1100%20Series/AppSearch/

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark P3150 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
