Unplug Printer and flip upside down and shake slightly if nothing comes out flip printer back over and open printer on the inside you will see some rollers in the back of the printer if you look in the middle you should see a little switch there ( that switch is the paper sensor which tells the printer if there is a jam) if it is missing the printer is no good and you should contact Lexmark but if it is bent just gently push it back or bend it gently so it won"t cause problems. if you are unsure about doing that just contact Lexmark and explain your problem and if you have a warranty then they should replace it but if not you can get a new one for around $85.

delete the norton internet security as its blocking the scanner files of your printer software .or try reloading the printer drivers again but if reloading the printer drivers does not helps then removing the norton software is compulsary as the files of printer are getting blocked so scanner is not working.

I had to go to my firewall and check the history. I happen to be running the Norton firewall right now and the Lexmark interface was marked as "auto" for access to the Lexmark site. I changed the setting to "Allow" and it immediately began to print. I am using the cjr3300en driver which is the current listed on the Lexmark site for Vista.

If this is a brand new cartridge right out of the box and it doesn't work, check for any residue from the blue tape you removed before installing it. If it still fails, I would assume it is defective and return it for a replacement.

Does it print a test page from it's own menu? This will isolate whether the problem is internal or from the connection to PC.
If it prints internal page, then try reinstalling driver.

It might be your printer catridge problem. Try changing it and giving it a nozzle clean.

Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

Error 1203 on a Lexmark is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..

If that doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement..
