Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse Not Connecting
After reading on Microsoft about replacing the batteries, down loading drivers and "press the button on the receiver and the
connect button the receiver" - I got frustrated and almost gave it flight. Then my wife stepped in
and realized that there was a green reset button on the USB connector as well.
(who knew?) SO.... you press the green light (which is a button) and release it....
should blink. Then go to THE MOUSE portion and press the connect button
for 5 seconds or so.... and wala...... One mouse that plays again! This ones gonna cost me! :) I hope this one works for ya!

I purchased Toshiba laptap already installed
When you guy a new laptop most of them come with a Trial version of Office. Either buy a copy of MS Office to get a license key or use a free alternative like Open Office.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000.
Hi
It is not the problem with the mouse
Since you have said
"I have
to key in Ctrl-Alt-Delete to unfreeze it"
Which means an application in the os is taking a lot of memory and cpu consumption
thats why it seems not working
******************
To confirm it(Whether mouse is causing trouble)) try running any live operating system(Linux,ubuntu,suse,fedora..etc) or different os(LInux...etc)and check whether the problem still persists
if yes leave me a comment . i will help you out
hope this will help you

How do I open to replace the battery on my
There is a release button on the mouse that allows you to slide the top back of the mouse off. The button will be on the bottom and labeled "OPEN". Press this as you slide the top cover off. From there you can replace the batteries.

Computer says the mouse is working properly, but
i was having the same problem check if your mouse has a button on the bottom and your usb should have a button to right. ok so your first step would be to click the button from the usb once then wait about 5 seconds then click the button under your mouse once and that should do it.
