Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f this should schedule to happen on reboot which will scan for and attempt to recover bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive or control panel administrive tools,computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now,start should schedule this task when restart defragment your hard drive will speed up your computer scroll to the bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer you might have virus slowing your computer also select users you will see who is using your computer hope this helps

Your board has three 164 pin DIMM slots and will accept 1 GB modules (at the largest) in each slot (Max 3 GB).

Look for PC133 164 pin DIMM modules and consult your manual for correct configuration. A 1 GB module in the first and second slot would give you 2 GB of RAM.

1- swicth on your power supply 2- power cable to the casing to the motherboard 3- your power casing swicth and reset (if the sw go on and off 4- clear cmos jumper 5- onplug your harddrive dvd all pci card ect.. evrerithing. keep only the minimum cpu ram and videocard if you dont have one in your mainboard 6- change termalpaste 7- change ram 8- change cpu

and now if your mainboard dont start your mainboard is dead

Try cleaning the RAM as shown in the image below

you should check bios for the ram settings, voltage and speed, they will be printed on the package the ram came in.

also, you don't want to mix ram up, they will run at the slowest ones speed.

also, most ram is used in pairs (2 at a time) using the 3, depending on the motherboard will give you errors.

try entering the bios on boot, and set the ram setting properly. you should see something that flashes on boot, like press f8 or del for bios. change your ram settings, save and exit. type back with your motherboard and ram model numbers if this solution did not work.

are the 2 a matched brand or are they have the same speed
I found that not all memory will work sid by side in seperat banks they have to be compatable with each other and and run at the same speed
