or from MSI (XP recovery)? but no photo of it told
XP support ended 2014, and is virus magnet ,why go there?
nobody on earth can guess what is in your hands(disk-wise)

a real OS CD. XP cd rom MS
boot order CD first.
hdd not bad, most this old are Dead.
1 keyboard. usb.
the RTC coin cell is dead, and none of this works like that.
fans not dead for sure CPU and PSU
omg you last person on earth with xp floppy set.
no sata ports hdd, no way to run model SATA HDD or ODD
no PCI express slots
only IDE pata sockets. for useless now dead PATA drives.

There are 5 versions of this model http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?... They have either 5 or 6 PCI slots. Find the version number - beside the model number Note the SiS main chipset numbers (one may be under a heatsink)

you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP alsomake sure your modem/routers settings are correct ie:password user name,firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connectionclick start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll downnetwork adapters + expand Ethernet driver right click you will have options to update driver disable uninstall or select properties general you will have the options to troubleshoot or to update driver rollback or uninstall a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver right click to install driverlast resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access onlinehope this helps
The floppy drive light permanently on can be caused by inserting the 4 pin power cable upside down.
Please check that the power cable is correctly inserted. There should be a raised part on the power plug that fits into a slot on the floppy drive power socket.
