Hi I'm sorry but I could not find anything about this motherboard / machine. However most laptops have the facility to plug in a monitor via a VGA port on the machine. If doing this works then check settings on your computer to ensure that it is not set to only display on an external monitor. If it doesn't work, try booting your computer in "safe" mode (Press F8 during boot) if you can see anything either during boot or with ext monitor. If all these fail then probably the graphics section of your motherboard has probably failed and a new motherboard will be required to solve the problem unless the graphics card is separate (unusual in a laptop of this age). usually all drivers for Compaq and HP computer systems (portable and non-portable) can be found on the HP support website (Click here to go to it), simply go there, chose your region, than your country, enter your model number (not the series, the model number, you would usually find it on the service tag, or wherever you would find a serial number), but be sure to chose "Download drivers and software (and firmware)", and than chose your operating system. I have a MSI motherboard KM2M Combo and I do not know whether I have to necessarily involve the outlet from the power source as the longer the ATX 20 pin power connector (CONN 1) and shorter ATX 12 V Power Connector (JPW 1), or will do, get involved If only the connector CONN 1?Thank you. In case your op. system is windows XP you can use this official link to download the proper audio drivers (Realtec ALC series AC97). In case you use a different op. system select the proper drivers from this official link. Note that win 7 are not supported (officially) for this motherboard.

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver if you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for (be precise)also the download software finder under that there will be a list place a tick in the box of any one you want/need all software windows software mac software mobile and web apps

this motherboard looks it has an eide controller you might have to check your PSU power supply units power ends that they have the sata end also you might have to check the motherboard for the IDE or SATA connection or use an adapter if it only has an IDE connector

You can download the drivers from MSI WEB support site,select your model motherboard to download :- http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloadindex

before trying anything in Bios control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers or if you can see your usb but its not working ports(com&lpt)right click update driver hope this helps

Press either delete or f2 during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
