One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems

computers need all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

Start BIOS menu and check SATA settings. SATA can be disabled from DOS.

The USB connectors are clearly marked on the motherboard.
There should be an extra set of pins that are not used and you can plug in the USB connector there.
The connector will have pins that look like this:
..... (1,2,3,4,5)
.... (1,2,3,4)
You don't use pin #5 on the top row.
Pin #4 on each row is ground.
VCC+ goes on pin #1 on each row.

In the motherboard of any models, there are only two ro four onboard fix ports. Another ports is not the part of Motherboard, there are only free ports pin on motherboards. your cabinet ports connect with there open pin ports.,

I went to this site and was able to download every driver, utility application and manuals for the 848P Neo-V motherboard for free. The only thing on that motherboard's specification page, for sale is the motherboard itself.

a q6600 intel or Q9550 there both under 400 dollars get an evga 780i mother board and some 800mhz ram good to go leaves a lot more room for upgrades to

if you goto msi site an select ur motherboard model then download the latest drivers

Hi hartterc, there is a bios update for the onboard integrated LAN card. The update, Set "Onboard LAN Boot ROM" to Enabled in BIOS. Bios Version 6.2 Date; 9-02-2006 File size 380KB.
Please allow MSI to run the (Live Update) program on you're system. If you allow this to run you will not need to download & flash you're bios.
