You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. You will just unplug the dc adapter and remove the battery from back side .Now hold down the powr switch for more than 40 seconds ,and again will install the battery and the adapter.


Now You will start the laptop and,hope it will solve.

Hello. Begin by charging the notebook. If that alone does not solve the problem, You may need to reinstall the drivers for the keyboard, they should have came on a CD with the keyboard, you may also be able to download the correct driver from NEC's website.

For most of the Models, you could use a maximum of 128 MB ram per slot. There are 2 slots in these Models. So , making it a combined Ram of 256 MB.

Assuming you are using windows, you can use any operating system disk as long as you have the product key purchased with the laptop (usually on the windows sticker on the bottom of the laptop). Boot up with the cd in the drive and follow the onscreen instructions.

Your keyboard may be mapped to a different language or type (QWERTY vs Dvorak). In the Control Panel, you can change this in the Clock, Language, Region area. Click on Change Keyboards or Other Input Methods.

that generally indicates a thermal issue with the laptop. does the fan come one when you power up the laptop. if not that is the problem.

download the drivers from the company's website.

try installing driver updating software like unibule driver scanner it solved my all issues regarding unknown drivers or else u can install windows 7 as it has also installed most of my drivers itself without making me use the drivers setup.

Go into control panel, go to device manager open the window look for your sound card and delete it, click back to top at computer click refresh and reinstall the software to your sound card. ck all settings, your speaker volume, and so on, try head phones to see if you get anything.

Most machines have a jumper to reset the BIOS password.  Sometimes, you just have to remove the coin cell battery and wait a few minutes for it to clear.
Try looking on NEC's website for that specific info on that model.
At any rate, it CAN be cleared out.

Basically the batteries dead and needs to be replaced!!
This is a common problem right across the board with all laptops, in some cases its the powerboard on the motherboard itself which won't charge any battery new or old.
To troubleshoot it you will need another battery to test with it.
