There is a dark spot that is showing up on all my pictures and it's getting larger

To make sure this spot is where I think it is, on the sensor, You should put the camera in manual, A priority and whose the highest value. Shoot in bright light a complete white paper. Then evaluate the picture on the monitor. If the spot is clearly viable the spot is on the sensor. With a fixed lens on your powershot, you can't repair or correct yourself. You should contact Canon. Don't tell Canon, you were in a moist environment. Perhaps a mould is growing on the sensor.

Canon Powershot A710 IS dont want to turn on

When this happened after you charged the battery, a few things can be wrong. The worst that could happen, is the battery did not survive the charging session. Other things: You managed to put the battery in, but the wrong side around. Almost impossible, but I don't know how strong you are. There is a bit of dust in the battery compartment. Just a little piece of paper can be enough to block the current. The battery door / cover, is not closed correct. Every battery cover has a switch that is needed to inform the camera that the cover is locked. When the switch does not work, the camera won't switch on. So my advice: remove the battery, Look if all contacts are clean and shiny. On the battery and in the camera. Check if the battery is really charged, by placing it again on the charger. After reinserting the battery, check is the battery cover is closed correct.

Asus Computer doesnt recognize my Canon power shot 300 I have windows 7

Don't forget to install the Canon software that came with the camera. If you lost the camera, try the Canon website I managed to get the newest software for Windows 7 last week. Works fine. Before your computer can work with any camera, you need drivers and some management software. Canons software is called ZoomBrowser EX. (also needed, when you want to manage pictures from a external card reader)

I cant see through the Viewfinder its just all black but i can see on the led screen and i can switch the display to he view finder and see it fine , so is the viewfinder broken ?

It is not likely the view finder is broken, because it is deep inside the camera. There can be many reasons why you can't use it as it should. Did you know you can adjust the brightness of the viewfinder and the display separately? It is in the manual page 31. And if you are with the manual (still online available) have a look on page 16 too. When the camera does not give the image to the view finder, it also could be an electronic problem, because switching in the camera goes along electronic paths.

S45

If the green access light is not working, you should be able to switch of the camera. If the light is out, you can remove the battery and try again. If the camera starts when he battery is replaced, i think the on / off switch is blocked. If the switch is just defect, there is a chance you won't be able to switch the camera on again. I wish you luck. Never switch of the camera, when the memory access light burns or flashes.

Foggy picturebought

A Canon Powershot SX150, with fogy spots? On all the pictues? or just on some you shot in certain light conditions? Sometimes, specs of dust reflect sunlight and, be cats they are not in the plane of focus, the produce bury spots. that is normal. But is you see the same spots on the same places on every picture, you should check your lens or suspect the sensor. If the front lens in very dirty, you could clean this with special gear for the lens. Don't use paper, or just a cloth. Special fluids and lens cloth, or lens pen should be used, to void damage on he lens or its coating.
