Casio Exilim EX-S3 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Casio Exilim S-3 camera does not download photos in Windows Vista
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or
Picasa.

How did the card get
On some SD/SDHC cards, there is a very small tab on the side that says "Lock/Unlock." Just flip the tab over to unlock and that should allow you to unlock your files and let access it.
Flash does not work on casio exs3 camera
It sounds like the flash in your camera is going bad. You can buy an external flash that fits your camera. You might also want to go in and check/change your flash settings. It is also very possible that they could have been changed. Worse case scenario it is time ti buy a new phone. Unless you buy an external flash unit that is what you are going to have to do if checking the settings does not help
Need help
Error messages seen at power-on if not caused by the memory card are generally related to the lens assembly either being jammed or malfunctioning.
We do not see many Casio cameras here in my shop but I can say that statement applies to these kind of cameras in general.
Hold the camera close to your ear when you power it on. Do you hear a series of different sounds, or do you hear chattering or repeating sounds? Perhaps no sounds at all?
