Sc 672 panel to controllar problem

i have ricoh 3010 model-he say remove the paper from internal tray.but there is no paper please guid me with video

Does the copier have a printer /scanner sd card installed and a network card installed in the machine as this is the best option to use the machine as a printer

• Power supply board defective
• Poor connection of the fusing unit

It could need a new thermistor

sc 542 is when the machine cant warm up to temperature for whatever reason usually entering service mode via clear 107 clear stop and rebooting clears the code if that dosnt work then the next step is call a service engineer

if the above solutions failed, ask a technician to clean the thermistors, as toner build up on them and then give you the same code, have also found that power surge or power failure also cuase this code to come up repeatedly

You have to go into service mode 5832-001 and press the execute button then power cycle the copier after the process is done.

For this model specifically, the following will get you into service mode. Hit "Clear / Stop" Buttom then "107" then hold down "color print" buttom for some sec then you are in service mode If that doesn't work, you can also use Clear/Stop,1,0,7, Clear/Start. Each key should be pressed and held until you hear a beep

Replace the whole toner holder assembly as the auger inside of it goes bad which causes the user to keep pulling out the toner bottle and checking it which in turn brakes the green handle

Cannot be done. Have a tech come and replace the NVRAM. It will cost you a lot of labor.....

You cannot. To remedy this you have to replace the NVRAM. Then all the settings for the machine must be re-entered. Not a job for the unexperienced tech or novice. See this all the time and will never understand why people change it.
