What is the problem with copier?

Sc548 can generally only be reset by entering service mode, and generally is caused by a defective thermistor (thermostat) in the fuser, and/ or power fluctuations. Sc990 is a software issue. I'd consider a new HDD> You'll need a tech for these problems.

Most likely you need a new Photoconductor unit (PCU).

sc726 is a finisher lift motor error. The lift motor could be bad, or the sensor that detects where the motor is might be bad. It could also be an overload problem, if something is in the way preventing the shift tray from lifting.

Message 3xx is interface problem. That is the communication from your printer to your computer. If this message exists and does not go away. You nned to check the connections to the computer hardware.

1. Press Yellow Botton.
2. Dial 107
3. Pess and Hold Orange Botton until you hear noise.
4. Press COPY SP
5. Turn off and then Turn on the machine.

sc872 is a hard drive error. Your hard drive may need to be replaced, or it might just need to be checked or formatted. You should have a service technician take a look at it.

It is easy for you because the problem is to replace only two termistors (cheep) in fusing unit.

When the machine stays at the "Please Wait" message and nothing else happens, the most likely cause is the hard drive. The hard drive will need to be replaced in order to restore full functionality. You can disconnect the hard drive to make the machine work in the meantime, but you'll lose some functionality.

I know this may be a stupid question but have you tried adjusting the screen contrast wheel on the left side of the panel? Sometimes they get bumped and this makes the screen go nearly blank. It is either that or you have lost the flourecent diplay tube which lights the screen.

Unstable fusing temperature

Symptom:
The fusing temperature varies 50°C or
more within 1 second twice
continuously.

Possible Cause:
• Thermistor defective
• Poor connection of the fusing unit
• Power supply unit defective

SC541 = The melting temperature measured by thermistor is less than 71 C

The problem lies in the fuser:
- Thermistor fuser defective or incorrectly installed
- Fuser Lamp failure

Solution: Replace Fuser

You could reset all the counters but you should call a proffessional with a good mantenance KIT, your copier probably needs it...
